We came from Minnesota or the Midwest and are now in San Francisco/the Bay Area. We meet up at various places in the city to talk about MN and other things we love. We go on random adventures. We sometimes eat too much butter.

A group for people who are new to the Bay Area! An Upstate (New York) boy and an Idaho girl got married and moved to Berkeley. Now what?! We know there are lots of other fun, normal people out there who are new to the area and are looking to meet future friends, find great places to hang out and get to know the area. So let's do that! Join on up and we'll create some fun activities for folks who are new here or just looking for new buddies and activities.

Welcome! Why not join us for a few hands of cards.  Many of us played Euchre in the Midwest and others have learned here in California at one of our meetups.  The game is social, easy to learn and pleasantly competitive.  (The two losing hands change tables and switch partners after each game). Our members are also interested in Pinochle and the occasional cribbage meetup.  We talk about other card games but don't seem to get around to playing them.
